Double child benefit among cost of living lump sum payments paid this week

Some €415 million is due to be paid out to those receiving Child Benefit, Fuel Allowance, Disability Support and Working Families payments. 

More than 1.3m people are set to receive four lump sum payments this week as part of the cost of living arrangements introduced in Budget 2025.
