Ex-Leinster rugby star Rocky Elsom flees Ireland following garda visit

Rocky Elsom, an ex-Leinster rugby star and former Australian player, has reportedly fled Ireland and gone into hiding after gardaí called to his home looking for him.

Last month, a French court sentenced 41-year-old Mr Elsom to five years in prison for misusing corporate funds during his time as president of the Narbonne Mediterranean Racing Club.
