Thunderstorms, heavy rain and hail forecast today

Met Éireann is predicting heavy showers, thunderstorms, and hail ahead of the first day of May on Wednesday.

According to the forecaster, showers will be heavy on Tuesday, with “thunderstorms and hail likely” particularly across parts of the Midlands and West. Highest temperatures of 10C to 13C are expected.
