Woman dies following incident involving car in Co Wexford

A woman has died following an incident involving a car which happened in Co Wexford on Tuesday. 

Gardaí and emergency services are currently attending the scene of the incident in Castlebridge. 

It is believed the incident happened between 11.30am and noon. 

Gardaí say they are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a woman outside a residential premises in Mill Park housing estate. 

The body remains at the scene. 

A section of the estate is currently closed to traffic as forensic collision investigators attend the scene. 

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact them.

"Any road users or pedestrians who were in the Mill Park area of Castlebridge this morning between 11.30am and 12noon and who may have camera footage (including dash cam) are asked to make this available to investigating gardaí," a garda spokesperson said.
