Nearly 10,000 people left waiting on trolleys across country in March

Nearly 10,000 people were left waiting on trolleys in Irish hospitals in March, marking a significant decrease from last year's monthly figure.

New data, released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO), shows that 9,856 people were without beds in March, representing a decrease of 3,087 from the 2023 figure, which stood at 12,943.
