A new maritime corridor to deliver vital humanitarian supplies to the devastated Gaza Strip is potentially letting “Israel off the hook” from opening land crossings for hundreds of aid trucks that are already waiting, the Tanáiste has said.

The EU, US, and other countries now plan to send aid by sea to Gaza as Israel continues to block land access to the Palestinian enclave in which people are living in apocalyptic conditions.
