The Status Yellow warning states that it will become icy in many areas but especially in Ulster and Leinster.
It said this could lead to hazardous road conditions and Slippery paths and cycleways.
The warning is valid from 8pm until 9am tomorrow.
Met Éireann says temperatures could drop as low as -2C tonight.
During the day there will be showers, mainly of rain, but a few will possibly fall as hail, sleet, or snow. Temperatures will range from 4-7C with winds occasionally increasing to strong and gusty.
Tomorrow is expected to be cold with some icy stretches. There will be sunny spells and scattered showers of rain or hail at first but they will become more isolated later. Highest temperatures of 7-10C.
