Man arrested after Makarov firearm and ammunition seized in Dublin

During the search, a Makarov semi-automatic firearm was seized by gardaí along with 13 rounds of ammunition and a silencer.

A man has been arrested by gardaí after a semi-automatic firearm, 13 rounds of ammunition and a silencer were seized by gardaí on Saturday in Dublin. 

A search was carried out at a residence in Finglas at around 5pm on Saturday afternoon by gardaí attached to the Blanchardstown District Drugs Unit.
