British actor Tom Hollander has said he often gets mistaken for Marvel actor Tom Holland and was once sent the 27-year-old's seven-figure bonus in error.
Both actors briefly shared an agency when the error was made, which Hollander described as a "terrible moment".
The 56-year-old said that because Holland was "enormously famous", people would often mistake Hollander for Holland in "non-visual contexts".
Speaking to US talk show , Hollander shared how the accounts department at his agency accidentally sent on an email that contained the payment details for Holland's first bonus from .

"I went to see my friend who was doing theatre in England and for £300 a week, but you know doing great work — Chekov," he said.
"And I just sat smugly in the audience, having just done a BBC show for 30 grand or something, which was going to get me through the next year or so."
Hollander said he was thinking to himself that it was "marvellous" and called himself very "prosperous".
"But my good friend Peter is doing this great play and I'm going to go afterwards and see him and slightly patronize him and say how wonderful it was," he said.
"And then the interval came and I thought I'd check my emails and I got an email from the agency saying: Payment advice slip, your first box-office bonus for .
"And I thought I don't think I'm in . And it was an astonishing amount of money. It was not his salary. It was his first box-office bonus, not the whole box office, the first one."
He added: "It was a seven-figure sum".
Hollander said his feeling of smugness "disappeared very quickly" after he saw the bonus for Holland.
"So my feeling of smugness that you remember I had in the first half disappeared very quickly."
"But that's showbiz," he joked.
Hollander has previously appeared on Pride and Prejudice as well as Pirates of the Caribbean before starring in the White Lotus.
Hollander's latest series will see him play writer Truman Capote in the Hulu drama , which is set to be released at the end of this month.
