Two men arrested following cannabis seizure worth €115,000

Gardaí arrested the two men following their recovery of an estimated €115,000 worth of cannabis herb following a search operation in the Kenmare area.

Two men, one of whom is a teenager, have been arrested following a cannabis seizure in Kerry today.

Gardaí arrested the two men following their recovery of an estimated €115,000 worth of cannabis herb following a search operation in the Kenmare area.

The operation was carried out by personnel attached to the Kerry Divisional Drugs Unit, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and officials from Revenue.

The two men, a teenager and one in his 20s, are being detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a garda station in the southern region.
