Irish Examiner secures 16 nominations for Irish Journalism Awards 2023

The Irish Examiner has received a total of 16 nominations for this year's Irish Journalism Awards across a range of categories.

Irish Examiner Education Correspondent Jess Casey is among the nominees for the 2023 Campaigning Journalism prize for her work outlining how Drinkaware, an organisation with close ties to the alcohol industry, had been offering training to secondary school teachers on how to lead classroom lessons about alcohol.
