Eamon Ryan criticises Saudis for spending more on football and golf than climate change

Environment Minister Eamon Ryan has criticised the Saudi Arabian government for spending more money on āfootball and golfā than on climate change measures.
āIn my mind, the polluter has to pay. If Saudi Arabia can afford ā¬875m spent in soccer players in the last three months, it can afford to contribute towards the climate crisis we have,ā Mr Ryan said.
