Sligo pensioner Tom Niland dies 18 months after violent incident at his home

He had been on a ventilator in ICU, unable to walk or talk and paralysed from the neck down since the incident at his home in Skreen, west Sligo, on January 18, 2022

Tom Niland, the bachelor sheep farmer who was on life support since a violent incident at his home 18 months ago, has died.

He passed away at Sligo University Hospital at 6.15 this morning.
