Childcare services have come along way despite decades of underinvestment — O'Gorman

Minister for Children Roderic O’Gorman has said that childcare services in Ireland have come a long way as the sector was historically underinvested in “for decades”.

It comes as thousands of parents and providers are expected to gather at the gates of Leinster House on Tuesday afternoon to protest against the issues the childcare sector is facing.
