4,163 Covid cases confirmed as HSE says falling cases among those with boosters is ’cause for hope’

A further 4,163 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed as falling cases among the elderly population who have had their third vaccine dose is a “cause for hope”, a HSE briefing has heard.
Currently, there are 545 people hospitalised with the virus, down 33 since yesterday. Of these 117 are in ICU.
