Man dies after swimming incident in Dublin

He was taken to Beaumont Hospital but he died a little while later.

A man has died after getting into difficulty while swimming in Dublin.

Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene at a beach near Thormanby Road in Dalkey on Thursday.

The man in his 20s was taken from the water shortly before 4pm.
