Gardaí have launched an investigation after a young man was fatally stabbed in Cork city tonight.

THE student who died after being stabbed on Bandon Road last night has been named locally as Cameron Blair, from outside Clonakilty.

The 20-year-old was a student of Cork Institute of Technology and was a former student of Bandon Grammar School.
