Beaumont Hospital has apologised in the High Court to the family of a 68- year old woman for “deficiencies in care” that led to her untimely death.

Kathleen Conroy, 68, who had flown in to visit her daughter from the UK had been referred to the Dublin hospital by a GP as she was complaining of a pain in her leg.
