Guard who became pregnant in 1980s speaks out about 'forced adoption'

A woman who says she was forced to give up her child for adoption after becoming pregnant out of wedlock in the 1980s has spoken out about her experience for the first time.

Update: 9.40pm:This evening, An Garda Síochána have formally apologised to former garda Majella Moynihan, the woman who was found in breach of discipline after becoming pregnant out of wedlock.
