Man gets three years for stabbing after 'extreme provocation' on night of noisy house party

A 32-year-old Dubliner who was cleared of murder but found guilty of stabbing another man after a row over a noisy house party has been jailed for three years.
Mr Justice Michael White said that while the defendant was subjected to “extreme provocation” on the night, he had a knife in his possession and was "prepared to use it".
