Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them after Clive Staunton was shot dead in Leixlip, Co Kildare last night.

Update - 4.25pm: Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them after Clive Staunton was shot dead in Leixlip, Co Kildare last night.

Mr Staunton's body has now been moved to the city morgue where a post-mortem examination will take place this afternoon.
