Large fire reported at Cork naval base

A fire has broken out at the Haulbowline naval service base in Co Cork.
The fire broke out at around 8.30 beside the officers mess.
Flames coming through the roof could be seen across the harbour.
Nearby premises were evacuated as a precaution.
Two units of Carrigaline fire service are at the scene, with the base's own fire service, who are carrying out boundary-cooling as well as tackling the blaze.
