Man dead following collision between car and lorry

A man has died following a collision involving a car and an articulated lorry in Co Monaghan.

Update 11.04pm: The body of the driver of the car, a 78-year-old man, has been removed to the mortuary at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda for a post mortem examination.

The local Coroner has been notified.
