Update 7pm: The general secretary of the NBRU says he is ready for 'meaningful' talks at any time to break the deadlock at Bus Éireann.

Dermot O'Leary has welcomed the call made by the Taoiseach yesterday urging both sides to return to the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) to resolve their issues.

<p> Volunteers attending the DMax 7.7 fitness event, in honour of Darragh McCarthy, who tragically passed away last year at just 21 years of age. The sold-out fitness event saw over 300 competitors take on DMax 7.7 featuring seven fitness stations, lasting seven minutes per station with a two minute transition between station. Competitors entered in teams of two and tested their strength, endurance and mental resilience across a series of challenges including rope skipping, ski-erg, medicine ball, assault bike, rowing, burpee box jumps and wall balls.
