Gardaí granted more time to question man about Regency Hotel shooting

Gardaí have been given a final extension to the time they can hold a man for questioning as part of the investigation into David Byrne’s murder.

The father-of-two was gunned down when an armed gang stormed a boxing weigh-in at the Regency Hotel in Dublin in February.
