Shannon water level now four inches lower than peak in places
Limerick City and County Council has welcomed reduced water levels along some parts of the River Shannon this evening.
Water levels along the Lower River Shannon at Castleconnell, Montpelier, Mountshannon Road (Lisnagry) and in the Limerick City area are now 4 inches lower than they were at their peak earlier this week.
