Number of jobless falls by 4,400

The number of people on the Live Register dropped by 4,400 in October.

An analysis issued by the Central Statistics Office shows a seasonally adjusted drop of 1.3% for the month.

Some 3,500 fewer men were signing on and 900 fewer women.

The seasonally adjusted total on the Live Register in October was 332,200.
