Mail sorting staff to be balloted today

A ballot of staff involved in a dispute at a An Post contractor will take place today.

The row centres on changes to working hours for 36 workers at I O systems.

The company manages the equipment at mail sorting centres around the country - the dispute brought post services to a halt earlier this month.

The Communications Workers Union will ballot workers today in a bid to end the dispute.
