Woman in serious condition following collision with Garda van in Co Kerry

A woman in her 30's is in a serious condition in hospital following a multi vehicle collision involving a Garda van in Kerry tonight.

The crash happened on the N22 Killarney to Tralee road approximately 7 miles from Killarney this evening at 7.45.

The women who was the sole occupant of one of the vehicles was taken to Kerry General Hospital, while the driver of a Garda van suffered minor injuries in the incident.

The Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission is investigating the crash.
