Ulster Bank to cut mortgage rate for some borrowers

Ulster Bank is to cut mortgage interest rates for low-risk borrowers.

The bank is to cut the variable rate to 3.5% for existing borrowers whose mortgage is 60% or less than the value of the home.

Ulster Bank are also set to introduce a fixed rate of 3.2% for those who meet certain conditions.
