Fitzgerald: Gardaí alert to security issues ahead of Prince Chalres visit

Ireland is prepared for any security threat to the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall during their visit to the country next week, Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald has vowed.

After a major swoop rounded up terror suspects and led to the seizure of viable bombs and other explosive components, Ms Fitzgerald commended the Gardaí on their actions.
