Ruling due on Joe O'Reilly application to have conviction declared miscarriage of justice

Convicted murderer Joe O'Reilly will find out today whether he can apply to have his conviction for the murder of his wife declared a miscarriage of justice.

The Director of Public Prosecutions has taken steps to stop his latest appeal, claiming it is an abuse of process.
