Taoiseach: No comment on accusations of 'political policing'

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has said that he has "no comment" to make on accusations of "political policing" from TD Paul Murphy and the Anti Austerity Alliance.

Enda Kenny said that he has nothing to say to accusations of a politically-motivated arrest.

"I have no comment to make on that, it's entirely a matter for the Gardaí," he said.

"They run their operations completely independently of the Government."
