The four - aged between 30 and 50 - are being detained in garda stations across the south side of the city.

The Anti Austerity Alliance says two of its councillors Mick Murphy and Kieran Mahon were also arrested this morning.

They are being held under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, and can be questioned for up to 24 hours.
