Five arrested in Tipperary over burglaries remain in custody

Five people remain in Garda custody this morning in connection with burglaries and other criminal activity in Co Tipperary.

Five men were arrested yesterday following planned searches in Dublin and Carlow.

It is part of an ongoing investigation into into organised criminal activity and burglaries in the Tipperary area.

The men, who are aged between 19 and 50, are being held at various Garda Stations throughout County Tipperary, where they can be questioned for up to seven days.
