The Taoiseach Enda Kenny has promised that the Garda Training College in Templemore will not be closed again.

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny has promised that the Garda Training College in Templemore will not be closed again.

Kenny was speaking to the latest 100 new recruits for the force who have started their training today.

300 people have been recruited to the Gardaí since last September - the first intake in five years.
