PSNI charge man, 18, in connection with attempted taxi hijacking

An 18-year-old man has been charged with attempted hijacking in Co. Antrim.

It follows the attempted hijacking of a taxi in the Dunmurry area of Lisburn yesterday morning.

The man is due to appear at Lisburn Magistrates court on February 16.

A 16-year-old boy, arrested in connection with the same incident, has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
