Campaign calls on people to anonymously report LGBT hate crimes

People are being urged to anonymously report LGBT hate crimes.

Minister of State Aodhán O'Ríordán will launch GLEN's new hate crime campaign this evening.

It encourages people to report LGBT hate crimes directly to the Gardaí and to log incidents at stophatecrime.ie anonymously if they prefer.

The website will help build a picture of the type and extent of homophobic and transphobic violence in Ireland.
