Gardaí investigate theft of medical supplies from ambulance in Drogheda
Gardaí are investigating after medical equipment was stolen from an ambulance in Drogheda this morning.
Volunteers from St John Ambulance Ireland made the discovery when they arrived in the Ballsgrove area to collect it for a charity Santa run.
Two bags containing life-saving equipment were missing, while the back door of the ambulance was also badly damaged.
A spokesperson said the vehicle will be off the road until the supplies are replaced.
