Cabinet approves O'Donnell to replace Gay Byrne at RSA
The Cabinet has approved the appointment of the former deputy leader of the Progressive Democrats, Liz O'Donnell, as chairperson of the Road Safety Authority.
She will take over from former TV presenter Gay Byrne, who stepped down last month after eight years in the role.
