Shannon wins Airport Achievement Award

Shannon Airport has won a prestigious international award.

It has won the Airport Achievement Award from the European Regions Airline Association.

The judges chose Shannon for turning around five years of decline in the airport’s first year as an independent entity.

It comes on the heels of a win on Monday of last week when Shannon Airport landed an international marketing accolade for airports under four million passengers.
