No more Santa bears: CRC drops well-known fundraiser

The Central Remedial Clinic in Dublin has dropped its Santa Bear charity appeal.

According to a report in the Herald, the decision to scrap the well-known fundraising drive is part of an overall review in the wake of the salary top-up scandal.

On Monday the Rehab Group appointed a new board in a bid to rebuild its battered reputation.

All but three of its 16 members have been been replaced.
