Three Dublin teenagers have been taken to hospital after getting into difficulty while swimming in an area of water at a residential complex in Blanchardstown.

Three Dublin teenagers have been taken to hospital after getting into difficulty while swimming in an area of water at a residential complex in Blanchardstown.

The incident happened at around 6:15pm when emergency services were called to the scene at Waterville Hall.

A girl is in a critical condition, a boy is in a serious condition and one other girl is stable.

The children were taken by ambulance to Temple Street Hospital.
