Waterford gardaí arrest man and woman in organised crime investigation

Gardaí at Waterford have this morning arrested a further two people as part of an ongoing intelligence-led operation into organised criminal activity in the area.

The man (aged 32) and woman (aged 21) are both detained at Dungarvan Garda Station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007.

Two of the people (one male and one female) arrested yesterday in connection with this investigation were released without charge late last night and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
