Gardaí appeal for information after child is shot in neck
Gardaí have said last night's shooting in Dublin, which has left a child in a serious condition in hospital, is an isolated incident and they do not believe it is linked to organised crime.
A six-year-old boy is being treated at Our Lady's Children's Hospital after he was shot in the neck at the Croftwood housing estate in Ballyfermot at around 10pm last night and is said to be in a stable condition.
