A Dublin man has admitted taking part in the attempted robbery of a bank nearly five years ago which involved using force on Kilkenny hurling All-Ireland champion Adrian Ronan and his family.

Stephen Freeman, of Ballcurris Gardens in Ballymun, pleaded guilty to attempting to steal cash with others from the Bank of Ireland in Kilkenny on November 3, 2009.
