Alan Shatter has indicated he will consider appealing a ruling that he broke data protection law by disclosing personal information about Independent TD Mick Wallace.

The Data Protection Commissioner found that the Minister for Justice broke the law last year by revealing that the independent TD had been cautioned for using his mobile phone while driving.
