Bomb disposal unit called out after hoax alert close to home of Justice Minister

An Army bomb disposal unit was called out to examine a suspicious package near the home of the Justice Minister in south Dublin this morning, which was subsequently declared a hoax.

Gardaí requested the services of the Defence Forces this morning after they became aware of the package.
