The Cork artist Patrick Scott has died at the age of 93.

The Cork artist Patrick Scott has died at the age of 93.

He was best known for his abstracts incorporating gold leaf forms.

The Irish Museum of Modern Art says tomorrow's opening of a retrospective exhition of his work will go ahead as planned.
