Almost 900 Irish deported from Australia, double previous figures

Almost 900 Irish people have been deported from Australia for violating the terms of their visas.

Figures from the past three years show 891 ex-pats were sent home after breaching the terms of their travel permits. Most of those overstayed illegally.
